In this piece, I delve into the fusion of Butoh and Sufi meditative movement, intertwined with belly dance. Having grown up observing Sufi rituals, I've always been fascinated by the synchronized movements of believers, despite my own doubts. In this performance, I embrace the notion that a higher entity has taken residence in my belly, directing my entire body through my gut, which serves as the core of my decision-making. This work embodies the concept of Gut Intelligence, as I surrender my body to an external presence.
