I am a movement-based, multimedia performance artist with a background in robotics engineering. My work explores raw human emotions—the lights and shadows—from a queer perspective, inspired by my Egyptian heritage and the postmodern globalised reality. As a young artist, I investigate the intersection of human expression and digital technologies, including social media, robots, online bots, and AI tools. My performances aim to highlight the rapid evolution of our beings and our understanding of the real world. Key questions in my research include: How does social media affect our awareness, self-worth, and sense of belonging? Can robots and AI understand human emotions? Could we humanize technologies to become peers, friends, or lovers? What is the power dynamic between humans and digital technologies? Are humans creating their descendants? How do we experience existence in a hyper-social world? Why is social anxiety and ADHD rising in new generations? Are we living in reality, imagination, or post-reality?
